Collection History:

Purchased in Thebes with other papyri and bought by Jean d’Anastasy (Swedish consul in Alexandria). It was probably already torn in two parts and Anastasy may even have obtained them at different times, as he sold one to the Dutch government in 1828 and the other was acquired by the British Museumin 1857. (Griffith, Thompson 1904: p. 1; Dosoo 2016).
